A Getaway With Your Doggo at Saranac Waterfront Lodge
Here at our LEED-certified Lodge along Lake Flower’s Pontiac Bay, we welcome well-behaved pooches! One dog up to 75 pounds is allowed per room.
With the completion of our Canine Policy Waiver and a non-refundable $150 pet fee, you and your best buddy will enjoy not only the comforts of one of our Lodge rooms, but also use of a cozy dog bed, water and food bowls, and a complimentary (and delicious!) dog treat.
Not only that, but you’ll have courtesy doggie bags available upon request for walks, and a dog toy you’ll be able to take home!
Keep in mind we require that dogs are never left unaccompanied in guest rooms, are always leashed outside of your room, and always wear a collar or a harness with I.D., license, and vaccination tags.
Here’s one of the best parts of the whole deal: For every dog that enjoys a getaway here at our Lodge, we donate $40 to a local no-killer shelter here in the Village of Saranac Lake: the Tri-Cities Humane Center.

We’ve got grassy lawns for walkabouts, a private boat dock offering stand-up paddleboard adventures with your dog (if he or she’s down with that), and ready access to miles of walking paths and hiking trails within the glorious scenery of the Adirondack High Peaks.
“Dogcations for Donations” at Saranac Waterfront Lodge
Another fabulous opportunity for dog lovers: We partner with the aforementioned Tri-Cities Humane Center on our Dogcations for Donations program, which allows guests to set up a day-long foster experience for one of the shelter’s dogs during their stay at the Lodge. We’ll match the donation to the shelter, too!
